terror comes calling, but i’m not home

i left town on the same day that twin bomb blasts killed about 20. less than 24 hours before the blasts, i was maybe 2 blocks from where one of the explosions took place. nobody i know of was hurt or killed in the blasts, which is some kind of solace but it is terribly disconcerting to know that a city that has stood for integration and harmony between so many religions is now under attack in an attempt to disrupt this harmony.

more thoughts on this after i get back.
