to make up for my lack thereof:
“The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposing ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function. One should, for example, be able to see that things are hopeless yet be determined to make them otherwise.”
-F Scott Fitzgerald
obviously, he didnt have me in mind when he wrote that.
on the other hand, i spent 2 hours last night just sitting in the cool pre-monsoon winds soaking up the cool midnight breeze, with my ipod playing something or the other at a very low volume.
it was great. now to purchase a computer. in some sad news, it may have to be a windows PC!!! AIEEEEEEEE is this what they call the twilight zone?
do not turn to the dark side*. Windows is evil. Even a used Mac is better. Look at the Mac mini. I’m very happy with mine.
*(unless it’s ‘of the moon’, that’s good on the iPod).
just sitting in the cool pre-monsoon winds soaking up the cool midnight breeze
That sounds lovely.
And Windows is evil, but I’m still trapped using it.
@ hatter: the last time i bought a mac, i got gypped cause they switched to intel. this time, i’m waiting for my mac cause they are getting updated big-time next year, unless intel collapses in on itself.
@ jennifer: YES. it was great, and i did it for 2 nights in a row.
love the image of the nighttime.
I use a PC. I depends on how you use your computer, I think.
I used to hate the “Windows.” Now I am one with the borg.
Yay! AIF is back babee.
