December is a terrible month to be an Indian

not only do we have the anniversary of the Bhopal Disaster, we have the 16th anniversary of the hateful destruction of the Babri Masjid, which was once a symbol of religious harmony, but was later turned into a flashpoint of religious hatred. It remains a day of caution here in Hyderabad, with additional police deployed in the largely Muslim areas of the ‘old city’ to prevent riots. Thankfully i have been otherwise occupied, so could not see what the manipulators in the media had to say…
